Winter 2020 Newsletter
Our Winter 2020 Newsletter is attached. A PDF version can be directly accessed at Winter 2020 Newsletter
We’re sure you have been sitting at your window, waiting for a volunteer to bring SAHRA’s Winter Newsletter to your mailbox. And we have been working assiduously to bring this newsletter to you. In fact it is ready to go, as you can see from this photo:
However, we’ve decided to “skip the delivery.” Justin has told us to go home and stay home and Doug has mandated non-essential workplaces to close. If we asked volunteers to deliver the newsletter, or anyone else for that matter, they wouldn’t be at home and wouldn’t be doing essential work. (Our decision to print the newsletter was made so long ago – last Thursday. Circumstances have changed so quickly that by the time it had been printed and was ready to deliver, we needed to change our decision.)
More seriously though, we felt that we would be exposing our volunteers to a possibility of infection. So we are practicing physical distancing by cancelling the delivery of the physical newsletter.
All is not lost however. Specially for you, we have provided links to a soft copy of the newsletter and also a Survey which is included in the physical newsletter. We feel it is important to stay in contact with you at this challenging time.
Here’s where you can help us get the news out: we have just 61% of the houses in our neighbourhood covered by email. If you have email addresses for your neighbours, please forward this page to them unless you know they are already receiving SAHRA eBlasts.
We hope you enjoy reading the Winter Newsletter and ask that you respond to the Survey by April 19.
There are 2 ways to participate in the Survey:
Option 1: Complete the ONLINE version by visiting the following link: links.sahratoronto.com/2020survey
Option 2: PRINT and complete a copy of the survey form, scan it and email it to [email protected]
NOTE: The ONLINE and PRINTED surveys are identical. Please complete one or the other, but NOT BOTH!
We also ask you to consider Page 4 of the newsletter, which addresses the Membership Campaign. We have on-line payment capability on our website or you can mail/drop off a cheque. Please see our Membership Page for links and details. Please support your residents’ association with a contribution so that SAHRA can continue to advocate for our neighbourhood.
Thank you!
Jim Sadler, President
