The Toronto Noise Coalition has completed a detailed review of the EC9.5 amendments, but much more needs to be done. They have prepared a letter that describes additional recommendations. The recommendations are grouped under the following headings.
- IMPROVE THE EFFICIENCY OF NOISE BY LAW REGULATIONS
- MAKE USE OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES
- MAKE MORE EFFECTIVE USE OF OTHER CITY RESOURCES
- CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT
- CONTINUE TO STRENGTHEN ENFORCEMENT
- ONGOING CONSULTATION WITH STAKEHOLDERS

WRITE A LETTER
Concerned residents can join the letter writing campaign:
- Send a letter of support for the recommendations in EC9.5 as amended, but consider adding your own recommendations to [email protected] by Sunday, February 4.
- Feel free to include some or all of the recommendations in your letter.
